Peace on the streets?

Recent unrest in all different parts of London have caused lots of opinions to surface about the way forward for our communities. Our own street was affected by the rioting as around 40 youths, some aged no more than 11 jumped on top of cars and smashed them in with hammers and baseball bats.

\Whatever we think about how these young people should be dealt with and how things should be resolved, one thing we can be sure of is that there is HOPE.

One of God's promises to his people is that, 'They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.' Isaiah 61:4

Let's ensure that we as God's people and part of the community are part of the solution, and fulfilling God's mandate to REBUILD, RESTORE and RENEW.
